About Daniel Mocny

Daniel brings to UPSTACK over a decade of experience delivering complex multi-vendor network solutions, along with an unmatched competitive spirit and team-first mentality. He joins the advisory team upon UPSTACK’s acquisition of the technology advisory firm he founded in 2014, MOC4 Consulting, LLC. Daniel continues to advise business customers that are sourcing data centers, colocation, cloud, network connectivity, and more through the UPSTACK platform. He takes a personal approach to each client engagement and believes that his clients’ success is his success.

A big fan of all things sports and sports analogies, it’s no surprise that Daniel was a determined athlete. After competing as a Division I baseball player at Long Beach State, Mocny landed in the tech industry at a telecom consulting company based in Huntington Beach, Calif., where he spent eight years working his way up to senior account executive responsible for direct sales and sales management.

Daniel specializes in helping mid-market and enterprise organizations design and source voice and data networks, leveraging technologies such as MPLS and SD-WAN. He also specializes in meeting the exact needs for uptime and regulatory compliance required by businesses in the legal and financial industries.

One of Daniel’s most successful deployments was with a law firm with 25 offices, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA who brought in a new IT Director to transform their network, IT staff, and overall communications. Daniel and his team worked side-by-side with the IT Director to replace their MPLS with dual Internet Service Providers, SD-WAN, UCaaS, Data Center, and DRaaS. Throughout this process, they created a team atmosphere that allowed for amazing communication and collaboration. The hard work paid off as Daniel witnessed the IT Director be promoted to Chief Information Officer and now manages a large IT staff reporting directly to him.
