Q&A with Jake

Q. What do you think the future holds for colocation?

A. I believe the demand for global colocation will only continue to grow. Technologies such as AI and autonomous vehicles not only will drive demand for edge computing, they will drive demand in the core IXC points and colocation facilities. I also believe we will see a shift and higher demand for hybrid cloud models where certain functions are outsourced to public cloud providers but other functions stay on client-owned equipment deployed in a hardened data center.
