Angie Tocco

Partner & Managing Director

About Angie Tocco

Angie Tocco brings nearly 40 years of industry experience to the advisory team at UPSTACK. Her various positions in all aspects of the business have earned Angie extensive knowledge of networking solutions and a respected reputation in the space.

In 2011, Angie Tocco co-founded LanYap Networks with her business partner, Laura Dashney. LanYap Networks, a provider of strategic telecom and cloud solutions for medium and large businesses, is a well-respected firm with numerous industry accolades for both sales and service. LanYap Networks helps clients assess their current infrastructure, plan for future objectives and source the best solutions from more than 150 service providers. Additionally, the team negotiates contracts and provides support for the life of the contract, offloading telecom headaches from internal teams. As a Partner and Managing Director for UPSTACK, she looks forward to helping more clients with their infrastructure needs.

One of Angie Tocco’s successful deployments was for their longtime network client who had deployed a desktop application with another vendor. Angie presented the client with competitive pricing to help them negotiate better rates with their existing providers and was ultimately successful in converting this 12-location client to a UCaaS and hosted desktop solution, despite their long-standing relationship with both their CPE and desktop providers.

In 2014, Angie and Laura founded Telecom for Change, a philanthropic organization. Giving back has always been a cornerstone of their business and personal lives, so they created the non-profit to encourage industry colleagues to come together to support small, grassroots charities. To date, Telecom for Change has raised more than $1 million for charities serving women, children, and families.

Q & A

Q. What do you think the future holds for CCaaS?

A. As contact center applications continue to evolve, it is extremely important to engage third-party non-bias assistance from advisors who can sit down with not only the C-level decision makers, but also the contact center managers that live and breathe in this environment daily. Advisors assist them in putting together a wish list of features and then “shop” options on their behalf bringing only truly qualified suppliers to the table. This simple step in a complex environment can save your company time, stress, turnover, and dollars. The key to contact center employee retention is giving them the tools they need to be successful which in turn makes the company successful.
