Q & A

Q. What do you think the future holds for IoT and mobility?

A. Mobility will continue to grow exponentially as the digital transformation of companies accelerates with virtualized workforces, remote workers and students, field force enablement, utilization of augmented and mixed reality technologies, and the continued drive in almost every industry for the requirement of real-time transmission of data. These key verticals include transportation, distribution, healthcare, education, retail, oil and gas, and more.

With the maturing of IoT technology, solutions, and platforms, the key to success is a targeted approach depending on your industry. The business case to continue to connect all things in order to drive towards automation, and the use of triggers and alerts as opposed to error-prone and expensive human capital, will continue to accelerate the growth in IoT.
