HR Leader Brings 20 Years of Experience Leading Human Resources Transformation and Strategy to Align with Business Goals

NEW YORK, March 14, 2024 – UPSTACK, the fastest-growing platform for digital infrastructure, announced today that it has named Anjana Sivakumar, a 20-year veteran leading transformational work in people operations, tactics and strategy, as its first-ever Chief People Officer.

In her new role, Anjana will develop and execute a holistic human resources strategy aimed at high-functioning team performance and collaboration at scale. She will focus on refining and stewarding UPSTACK’s culture, enabling its people to grow, develop and support customer-first values. Additionally, Anjana will create programs to align UPSTACK’s culture with its business strategy, ensuring growth and sustainability through employee, partner and customer engagement.

Anjana comes to UPSTACK with more than 20 years of HR and business experience in both in-house and consulting roles, where she led transformational work in HR strategy; merger and acquisition; organizational design; talent and leadership; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI); and data analytics. Most recently, Anjana was a Human Capital Advisor at Apollo Global Management, helping stand up Atlas SP, one of Apollo’s credit platform companies. Previously, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at StoneTurn, a global professional services firm. Anjana started her HR journey at MetLife.

Anjana earned a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a master’s degree in business administration from the NYU Stern School of Business, giving her the ideal HR and business foundation and expertise to elevate the UPSTACK experience.
